Every year, for the past 15 or so, we organized ski trips for our family and friends. We skied Gore Mountain, Titus Mountain, Tupper Lake, Killington, Whiteface, Sunshine Valley, Lake Louise, Whistler, Mont Tremblant, Panorama and Le Massif. For 2011 March break, almost a thousand friends enjoyed the hospitality of North Creek, a small hamlet of 1,200 on the bank of Hudson River. Few months before, a party of 450 friends spent a great week of skiing at Titus Mountain over Christmas holidays!
Gore Mountain and Titus Mountain are two of our favourite places, and we've been going back for the past 8 years during March Break and Christmas. Gore Mountain is nested in the southwest corner of the Adirondack Park in New York state. It's the Eastern United States premier ski destination. The thing is, not many people realize that - which is fine with us! Christmas is the best time to ski Titus! It's close, inexpensive, not crowded and friendly.
